AbacusNext Merges With Zola Suite

San Diego-based legal and accounting software provider AbacusNext, and New York-based Zola Suite said last week that the two companies are combining. Financial terms of the merger were not announced. AbacusNext is led by CEO Scott Johnson, with Zola Suite founded and led by CEO Fred Cohen. Zola provides case management, email management, integrated legal billing/timekeeping, and trust and business accounting software; AbacusNext provides practice management, case management, document automation, and payment processing software.
