Assembly Joins Billion Dollar Unicorns After Strategic Investment
Los Angeles-based e-commerce software developer Assembly has joined the ranks of the local unicorn startups, according to the company, after getting a “significant capital injection” from Advent International. The company said it now surpasses $1 billion in valuation after the round. The company did not say how much Advent International invested in the company. Assembly is led by co-founder and CEO Sandeep Kella. The company said that PSG also participated in the funding round, which it says will be used to fuel growth plans for the company.
