Enevate Inks New Battery Production Licensing Deal

Irvine-based battery developer Enevate announced on Tuesday that it has inked a new, production licensing agreement, with EnerTech International. According to the company, EnerTech International will commercialize its battery technology in the transportation, mobility, and reserve power markets. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Enevate is backed by Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi (Alliance Ventures), LG Chem, Samsung Venture Investment Corp, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Mission Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Tsing Capital, Infinite Potential Technologies, Presidio Ventures — a Sumitomo Corporation company, Lenovo, CEC Capital, and Bangchak.
