Faraday Future Launches App For Future Car Buyers

Los Angeles-based Faraday Future, the developer of electric vehicles, said it has launhed a new app, which it says it will eventually let users control the vehicle systems of its upcoming vehicles. In the meantime, the app allows users to configure and reserve the company’s upcoming, first vehicle, the FF 91. The company said the app runs on both iOS and Android. The company said the app allows users to “become part of FF’s user ecosystem” and “experience the benefits and excitement of the FF community, products and technologies that FF offers”. Faraday Future is in the midst of an acquisition by a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), Property Solutions Acquisition Corp., which the company says is expected to provide approximately $1 billion in gross proceeds. That deal is expected to close on July 21st.
