Los Angeles-based startup, Nanotech Energy, is pitching customized, non-flammable Lithium-ion battery packs, saying it plans to deliver its products by Q4 of 2022. The company said it is developing graphene-based batteries and pouch cell battery packs, which it says can be used to power electric vehicles, bikes and scooters. The company has yet to deliver any products to market, but says it is now taking pre-orders for the yet-to-be-developed products. The company's founder and CEO is Dr. Jack Kavanaugh, who previously founded ZetaRx Biosciences, which was sold to Juno Therapeutics. The company recently raised $65M in a funding round.
