Interested in social entrepreneurship? Have an idea for a social venture? Want to work in social impact? This event is for you!
 
Learn from a panel of seasoned experts about their social impact work and journeys to success, then join a series of short small group mentoring sessions with each panelist where you can ask questions, get specific feedback and network with like-minded students.

STARTUP UCLA: UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT PITCH PRESENTATIONS
Please join Startup UCLA in celebrating UCLA undergraduate students who are creating for-profit, non-profit, and social enterprises. Students will pitch their latest innovations and share the importance of being research-driven to inform and shape the development of their business. Professor Tim Groeling, UCLA Department of Communication and co-founder of Startup UCLA will moderate this virtual event for Undergraduate Research Week.

What:
Teams from Innovate@UCLA’s Young Tech Professionals Tech Bootcamp will showcase their social impact project pitches! 
About: Student teams have been working on their projects since the beginning of April. Industry professionals coached the students and guided them through the solution implementation. Speakers and other experts were also brought in each week to educate the students on digital and business topics such as Design Thinking, Data Analytics, UI/UX Fundamentals, How to Pitch, etc. Projects center on four themes: CleanTech, EdTech, HealthTech, and SmartCityTech.
