Summer Accelerator Team Spotlight: Meet Compined!

Summer Accelerator Team Spotlight: Meet Compined!
Happy Thursday, Bruins! ☀️
We hope you have been taking time to relax since we have exactly two months of summer break left. As Covid numbers have started increasing, it is important that we mask up and stay safe!
SUMMER ACCELERATOR WEEK THREE RECAP
Summer Accelerator teams had a productive third week in the program! Some of our teams kicked off the week by meeting with high school students in the Social Entrepreneurship Summer Institute to provide feedback on their social enterprise ideas. On Tuesday, we heard from Jamika Martin, founder of ROSEN Skincare and Summer Accelerator '17 alum, on how she landed her products on retail shelves. On Wednesday, teams pitched their products to Tim Groeling, Professor of Communication and Startup UCLA Co-founder, as well as Robert Jadon, Director of the Summer Accelerator. The teams received valuable feedback on their presentation skills including how to efficiently cover their topics within a certain time limit and how to appeal to a specific audience, as our teams prepare for next week’s Mentor Night.
